Sarah and I went to a small town high in the Azerbaijan Caucasus called Xinaliq.
Perfect spot for a little restaurant, no?
Along the way we stopped to explore a half-built restaurant / rest area tucked behind a boulder over a gorge.
Up through the boulders
The kids were designing a house with stones on the ground. I could be wrong, but the floor plan didn’t seem to resemble any of the houses in Xinaliq.
